Notice of Annual General Meeting 2011/12

The Raleigh KL Annual General Meeting (AGM) is a legal requirement. The AGM is held every year to elect the new Raleigh KL committee and to inform the members of previous and future activities. The annual report and audited account will also be reviewed.

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting 2011/12 of Pertubuhan Raleigh International Kuala Lumpur will take place at:

Date: 11 June 2011
Time: 8:00 am to 12:30pm
Venue: Pejabat Belia dan Sukan Kepong/Segambut (previously known as Rakan Muda Clubhouse (RMC)
Address: No. JKR 2336, Kelab Rekreasi Rakan Muda, Jalan Dato' Onn, 50480 Kuala Lumpur.

Who can vote?
To vote, members must fulfill two criteria:
1) have been to an Introduction Weekend and/or Expedition
2) subscribed as members for the new term i.e. paid membership fees for 2011/12*
* You can register as a member for the new term during the AGM by completing a membership application form together with RM60 for first year membership (inclusive of a limited edition Raleigh KL polo T shirt) or RM20 for subsequent year renewal.
(Members will receive preferential rates and pre-registration privilege during Raleigh KL activities and discounts at selected outdoor and camping gear stores such as Lafuma Outdoor Pro Shop. Members also have lower fundraising targets for expedition.)

Who can be elected?
To be elected, members must fulfill two criteria:
1) subscribed as members for the new term i.e. paid membership fees for 2011/12*
2 a) have been to an Expedition, or
2 b) have not been to an Expedition, but have been to an Introduction Weekend and played a significant role in the organisation / management of a Raleigh KL project, subject to recommendation from the present Committee
