Posted by Poh-E in monthly meet
Here at Raleigh KL we want to add a little sparkle to your holiday season.
And what could possibly sparkle better than a bright star on a clear night?
Millions of bright stars.
That is exactly what we will bring you this December.
At the time of year where meteor showers and shooting stars are abundant, we have chosen one of the best spots around to do some star gazing. With minimal light pollution from the bright city lights, Jalan Sungai Tua is the perfect place to chill out and bask under the magnificence of the universe, enjoying the view all the planets that exist beyond our reach.
So take the weekend off, grab a buddy, and spend a wonderful weekend under the stars.

Oct MM Deep Impact: How did it go?

Wow.
We stood in awe, still taking in the fact that within the small entrance to Gua Tempurung lies a hollow cavern with preposterously massive proportions. We were also surprised how windy it was within the cave. Right, let the adventure begin.
For the first 30 minutes, we went through man-made trails ranging from bridges to stairs. We were all surprised by the amount of rock formations that look eerily similar to human faces.
But as we carried on, it was all stone tunnels and waterways, having the need to crawl through most of them, getting wet on several occasions just to squeeze through impossible gaps.

"The temperature dropped as we ventured deeper into the realm of darkness, with head-torches giving everyone their only assurance of safety,"
We went through countless of gaps, creeks, trenches and tunnels before we saw a glimpse of sunlight, signifying the end of our journey.
It was a good 4 hours of exercise, slipping and sliding our way through mother nature's own labyrinth. We had seen, touched, smelt and felt things that were unique to us. All of which made it a special day to remember.
