Dec Monthly Meet - Let's go BANANAS!

Bananas are one of the few foods to contain the 6 major vitamin groups. Perhaps the reason bananas are so nutritious is because the banana plant is in fact a giant herb.

Linnaeus, the famous botanist who classified the world's plant life, described the banana as musa sapientum or "the fruit of the wise men". In fact, bananas are the richest source of Vitamin B6, necessary for proper brain function.

if that's the case, We ALL need to eat a bit more bananas.


What?

1 hour easy hike. no uphills. flowing stream. wet wet wet. Waterfall ending!

Sungai Pisang, Gombak.

walking shoes/strappy sandals. active wear. swimming trunks/bikinis. change of clothes. drinking water. snacks of chocolates and biscuits to be shared to all.

The trek entry point is 15mins drive from Gombak Putra LRT.

Please allocate approximately RM2 extra per person for drivers to cover petrol costs (for a car of 5pax)

Registration deadline is 11th December (Thursday) 5pm.


**All those who fail to register, and do not drive, will risk a 20km walk on foot to the trek start point, which can be achieved in an estimated time of 1.5 to 2 hours. This section of the walk is not wet. In fact, it is rather hot and dry.

**The same applies to those who are not at Gombak LRT at 8am.
