Raleigh KL October Monthly Meeting

Hey all,

Hope you're getting ready to attend the October Monthly meet on the
1st of next month. This email is to announce a change to the original
plan:

As you already know that we were to attend the PM's open house at
PWTC; unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, we wouldn't be
getting fed, as the PM is holding it in Kedah.

But fear not, fellow Raleighians; we're still having fun by heading
for Gabai Lagoon which is a waterfall with natural waterslide; so you guys need not scrap any plans of being elsewhere.

Another thing; meeting point is the same venue (KL Sentral airport departure section),but the time has been pushed back to 2pm. So be there...hopefully in time.

Hi Raleigh team..

It’s October Monthly Meeting around the corner and next monthly meet we are planning to ambush the Prime Minister..heheh…to his open house of course!!

Eid-ul-Fitr is a Muslim celebration that marks the end of Ramadhan, the fasting month. In Malaysia, Eid-ul-Fitr is known as Hari Raya Aidilfitri or simply Hari Raya. Although Hari Raya is celebrated by Muslims, the celebration in Malaysia is unique, as open house is to welcome friends from all walks of life and is seen as a symbol of unity among the multi-racial Malaysians as it is also enjoyed by fellow Malaysians of other religions and faiths. In conjunction with the auspicious event and in true Malaysian tradition of hospitality, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Haji Ahmad Badawi will be hosting an open house and all of you are welcome..

TENTATIVE DETAILS are as below:

Date: 1^st October 2008

Meeting time : 12 noon

Meeting location: KL Sentral

Fees Member : FOC

Non-Members: RM3 (for shared transport and coordination cost)
Deadline: 29 Sept (To ease the planning of transportation and refreshments)

Book your time with us since KL will be deserted during the first raya. It’s a perfect time to meet lost acquaintances, new fresh faces and maybe a few ministers too ;) So, book your raya with the Raleigh and let’s have fun together.

Please confirm your attendance, just simply drop us an email or a sms with your NAME, TEL NO, EMAIL and state if you are willing to bring your car to to share with others who don’t have one ;) For your confirmation it's our heartfelt gratitude-thank you.
