Notice: AGM 2013/ 14 - Raleigh needs YOU!

Dear Raleighians,

We have just wrapped up beautiful Round Island Challenge 2013 and IW May 2013 is coming very soon!

Raleigh KL would like to you invite you to attend our Annual General Meeting this year to VOTE for next term and receive our updates and sharing with you on what we have done in 2013!

The AGM is held every year to elect the new Raleigh KL committee and to inform the members of previous and future activities. Annual report and audited account presented by the current committee will be reviewed by you.

Venue: International Youth Centre, Cheras, Kuala Lumpur 

Reachable by taking a 3 minutes cab from Station Bandar Tun Razak (LRT)

3. Presentation for Annual Committee Report

4. Presentation of 2012/13 Financial Report and the Adoption of Audited Accounts

5. The Dissolution of 2012/13 Committee

7. Appointment of Auditors for the next financial year

Who can vote?

To vote, members must fulfill two criterias of below:

1) have been to an Introduction Weekend and/or Expedition

2) subscribed as members for the new term i.e. paid membership fees for 2013/14*

* You can register as a member for the new term during the AGM by completing a membership application form together with RM60 for first year membership (inclusive of a Raleigh KL Green Dry Fit t-shirt) or RM20 for subsequent year renewal.

(Members will receive preferential rates and pre-registration privilege during Raleigh KL activities and discounts at selected outdoor and camping gear stores such as Lafuma Outdoor Pro Shop. Members also have lower fundraising targets for expedition.)

Who can be elected?

To be elected, members must fulfill two criteria:

1) subscribed as members for the new term i.e. paid membership fees for 2013/14*

2 a) have been to an Expedition, or

2 b) have not been to an Expedition, but have been to an Introduction Weekend and played a significant role in the organisation / management of a Raleigh KL project, subject to recommendation from the present Committee

To nominate yourself or your friend as a 2013/14 committee member,

P/S: 

Raleigh KL committee will FIRST ANNOUNCE to you on the amount that we managed to fundraise through Round Island Challenge! Do come for the exciting updates and the next upcoming projects!

Also,It does not fall in the week of Father's day as per the last 2 years! Hence, sincerely hope everyone can make it!
