Sir Walter Raleigh 2 oz Vintage Tobacco Tin Box, Brown & Williamson


Hi everyone, i'm Paul Henry, this is my fundraising effort to Borneo 10A expedition. 

You are looking at an vintage original Sir Walter Raleigh Old Tin Box which once held Smoking Tobacco for Pipe and Cigarettes, B & W product - Brown & Williamson Tobacco Corp., Louisville,KY., U.S.A. 

The colorful orange and black tin has a picture of Sir Walter Raleigh Smoking a pipe on the front. The back tells of the quality of the tobacco and the bottom has the embossed Sir Walter Raleigh name. It measures 5.6 cm tall and radius of 3.6 cm, cover attached firmly and works fine, shows minor rust, minor scratches, with serial number.

Shape: Circa.
Condition: Used condition, empty.
Dated: Believed to be from 1930s to 1940s.
Serial No: 7391
Slogan: Sooner on later-your favorite tobacco
Opening price: RM200, those with the highest bid before the dateline gets to own it. Place your bid on the wall.

Sir Walter Raleigh has been credited with with bringing potatoes and tobacco back to Britain, although both of these were already known via the Spanish, Raleigh did help to make smoking popular at court.

Be proud to own this piece of rare vintage.
