Posted by Poh-E in

Dear all,

We are Raleigh~!!!

Hooray~ we have succeeded a mud hut green camp on 5 – 7/11/2010 and 60 mud bricks were made in 2 days, it is one more step nearer to build a mud hut.

What have we done in this green weekend??

First, a comfortable accommodation to stay in is compulsory and we had set up 7 camps on Saturday evening time once we reached Kampung Cottage.

At night time, after we settled our dinner, we had bonfire, ice breaking and mud hut briefing session by Mr. Ivan (land- renter). Gratefully, friday night ends~

On Saturday, we had our usual monthly meeting on 7.30am……

and started working, working and working….

Congratulations~ we had made 40 mud bricks in first day and it is really a good effort!!
For chilling session, we went to Sungai Pisang to have a cold and fresh dip and ready for a MUSICAL SHOW by Encik Raman at night time.

He is orang asli from Kaum Semai. He holds “Pensol”(flute) and use nose to blow out the music, is that amazing?? Do check out Gerai OA if you wish to purchase the crafts, musical instruments, and puzzles.

But…..do those fellow work it out?? Hmm…..^^

Moreover, there is some traditional handicraft like “Puzzle”.

Do you see the blue string which hang around to the middle part of “puzzle”, how do you get out the blue string and put it back in just few steps?? Headache……

Furthermore, we have learnt bahasa Semai from Encik Raman too, example: “Ma i ga” (how are you?), “Ga borrr” (I am fine) and etc......

So, the gorgeous Saturday ended and how was our Sunday plan?

As usual, we continue our work and lovely we have them~ children from kampong nearby to help us out!! Thanks for their effort so much~

On Sunday, we had made 20 mud bricks.

At the Sunday afternoon time, we had a surprise birthday party for Beez~ Bee ling, and thanks to auntie for cooking us a very lovely lunch too.

A mud cake with a flower and 2 burning wood sticks on top specially for our Beez~

Wait~ how can we miss them out? Welcome to our lovely Diamond and 2 new guests (black dog ~ Wong Choi and milky-white dog ~ Cha). They had accompanied us for 2 days 2 nights.

Finally, what Raleigh wants to say is……
