Pop quiz - Do you know the 4 challenges of Raleigh?

If you do, a gold star for you!

The 1st challenge of Raleigh is to attend Introduction Weekend. This weekend is an opportunity for newcomers to experience a snapshot of what is it like to be on a Raleigh expedition. This is also an avenue for young people to learn more about Raleigh KL as an organisation and the platforms available for young people such as yourself for personal development. 

We are pleased to announce the two following dates for Introduction Weekend for year 2013/2014 :

1. 29 Nov - 1 Dec 2013
2. 28 - 30 March 2014


Participants
For those planning to join a Raleigh expedition and have yet to attend an IW, do note down these dates and anchor down some long term plans. Feel free to also spread the word about Raleigh KL and IW and get your friends out there too!
More details about the specific IW will be furnished closer to these dates.

Staff
As for the rest of Raleigh KL members, regulars and old-timers, do block off these dates if you are interested to join IW as a staff member. Serving as IW staff is a step further along the journey of personal development with Raleigh KL. There are various positions within the staff team that require different skill sets, such as logistics coordination, facilitation, f&b servicing and first aid. We welcome anyone interested to be a staff member in any of these IWs to drop us a note. 

We will also like to encourage potential individuals out there to take on prominent leadership positions within the team. Those who take on leadership roles will get the chance to work closely with the committee in organising an IW from start to finish by helming specific responsibilities, and will get to lead a small team of their own to deliver these outcomes. This is actually a great opportunity to hone your leadership chops, so should you be interested in this challenge, do drop us a note as well. 

IW has always been a unique event by volunteers for future volunteers. We would like to thank everyone for your support in all our past IWs, and we hope to see you soon in the next one!
